I came along last Sunday with my sketching gear, and this is the picture.ĭulu dari sebuah harian terkemuka saya pernah membaca tentang sejarang Kereta Api di Indonesia.ĭalam artikel itu disebutkan tentang jalur kereta api pertama, yaitu antatar Tanggungharjo dan Semarang. ![]() ![]() Exposed land structure and the shape of unexploited part is very interesting. The Indonesia’s Sketchers collaborates with Erasmus Huis, as the main force in the Kingdom of Netherland’s cultural campaigner in this country, presents a sketch exhibition by offering a nostalgia of the past, a historical bound of Indonesia and the Kingdom of the Netherlands through an architectural magnificence live recording activity in ink, watercolor and other medias in a present day context. Through six major cities of Java island Jakarta, Bogor, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta and Surabaya, and also Medan, in the island of Sumatra, all sketchers hunted back the long record of Indonesia’s history from the buildings of Netherland’s legacy in the cities that they live in by approaching the object of history and its environment. The record of this legacy and heritage are witnessed and recorded by the Indonesia’s live sketching community called Indonesia’s Sketchers. We're sorry that we can only share you the leftovers. Here they are in a collage form (I did some photoshopping on them to one page, so these are not their original views). And they did like the sketches and bought them!! So, only few of them survived back to their sketchers. Later on we wanted to show the result to the audience and the band, see if they like and if lucky, but them. The music of Sketsa band drove us quite wild that 6 sketchers produced around 30 drawings in about 3 hours time. The band was really energetic, very entertaining and provided no barrier between them and the audience which was made up of friends, fans and fellow musicians. What we didn't expected was that the experience of sketching a band playing while having full access to wherever spot we want to be during the event, was GREEEAT! SO we agreed, we posted this poster (above) on our Facebook wall and waited to see how many sketchers would show up to participate. I just relied on a feeling that if somebody like Barry Likumahuwa wants to promote these guys, then they should be either really good or fantastic. We didn't know what to expect although I did have a technical meeting the previous day. ![]() We were invited to hang out and sketch them in a performance at an independent studio around Jalan Senopati area, South Jakarta.
